My name is Richard Weinhoffer Jr and I am running for Borough Council. I live in the Berkshire Heights neighborhood of Wyomissing with my wife and 2 daughters. I have been Wyomissing resident for most of my life. I moved to Wyomissing for my first grade year and I graduated from Wyomissing High School in 2001. I am currently active in the Borough by being the Vice President of the Recreation Board and serving on the Planning Committee.

You can find me volunteering my time in many different areas. I coach my daughter’s soccer team, engage in the Watch Dog Dad program at Spring Ridge Elementary, participate in various activities at Holy Cross Methodist Church, and cleaning up the neighborhood.

I graduated Wyomissing in 2001. After high school attended Lebanon Valley College, class of 2005. I have been in the financial industry since then. I spent 3 years working for Commerce Bank/Metro Bank. Since 2010 I have been employed at Utilities Employees Credit Union. I am a Financial Services Consultant, dealing primarily with loan products and services.

I spend countless hours picking up litter all over Wyomissing. Be it random wrappers in the parklands or large debris on the side of the highway, I try to get it off our streets. Doing my part, one piece of litter at a time to help improvement our borough.

I am excited to serve the community that I have been a part of for so long.
